When you ask us to make or design something, we need as much information as you can give us. If you’re asking for something complicated we may want to have a chat (email, skype, phone, whatever works for you) about the details.
How long will it take?
Each job is going to be unique. However we’ve got enough experience to be able to estimate how long it will take. If you have a deadline (especially if it’s a show, photoshoot or convention) let us know. If you have a tight deadlines, the sooner you get in touch the sooner we can work out what’s possible.
How much will it cost?
As with “how long will it take?”, this is very dependent on the actual job. With many commissions there are always variables, making small changes can have a big impact on the final price, so we’re always sure to make you aware of all the options.
Do I need to pay up-front?
We typically ask for either full payment or a 50% non-refundable deposit on commissions. If you’re someone we’ve worked with before we usually waive this though!
Can you make anything?
Probably. Even if we haven’t yet, part of what is fun about this is finding out how to make new things. So ask us!
For costumes, do you do fittings?
When necessary, yes. You can come to our workshop for fitting and measuring if it’s something that needs it. We also have mannequins so in some cases we can also work from supplied measurements.
Do you deliver?
We certainly do (worldwide). If you’re close enough, or the item is particularly un-postable for whatever reason you can also come to collect it.
